I'm looking at a D41P-6DB31T s/n SDB53009 supposed to be a 2006 model, I'm very ignorant on Komatsu equipment. Making sure its not grey market, been burned years ago on a excavator. Seems to be in good shape, cab air, undercarriage about 60%, engine runs good , hydraulics work good and transmission shifts smooth. Any info about s/n is helpful. Thank you..
Looks like the -6 model ran from 1996 to 2005 . There should be a 17 digit number tag on it , VIN/PIN . Seems to make little difference who built it but who bought it and if it was maintained . Million dollar one through the fence had a nice paint job but had 10's of thousands spent on it in repairs from one end to the other . P models work hard with no ground slip in the dry when on swamp tracks .
