Have to hook a jumper wire direct from battery to battery relay in order to start machine. Then the machine will not shut down with key Have to manually turn throttle down on govenor to shut engine down. Also the throttle dial does not work in cab. Have to manually adjust on govenor. Can someone tell me what the problem may be? My thought is to replace battery relay but don't know if this will correct the issue? Thanks
Sounds more like you lost the power feed to the key switch, if you have a hot wire on the small relay terminal, it's feeding power back to the key switch switched terminal so it acts like the key is always on. Not sure about the governor deal though.
Check your fusible links M14 and M11 in your battery box.
