Lift the tracks when turning in heavy mud. It's very difficult for the machine to move the tracks sideways into a turn when they're weighed down.

My PC 75 slips them pretty regularly if i'm not careful. That said, make sure they are tight to spec too. The book calls for 10mm clearance on mine at the center idler. They are super tight, but they still slip off.

If you can do most of your turning going forward with sprockets in rear, that will help. I ran a 175 international track loader with old tracks and if we backed up with full bucket and turned, we would lose the track almost every time. Turning going forward she kept on going.

Also look at the idlers not only the wear but how much slop in in the frames between the idler brackets if they are too loose the idlers will trun and allow the tracks to come off and it does not take too much for that to happen.
