The blower motor fuse blows after turning the ac on. I disconnected the two prong plug that goes into the right side heater box where the box halfs come apart . with that connector unpluged the blower motor work and the fuse doesn't blow. I don't want to remove the heater /AC box to see what is causing this problem. Has amy one run accross this problem,or does any one know if some has a fix. thank you Mike 138
Yes, take the covers off the AC system in the cab and blow or vacuum all the dirt out of the filters and ducting. Then check the ducting doors for being blocked by debris or the hinges having enough corrosion in them to freeze them in place. The blower motor might just be stuck if it blew the fuse. If it turns freely, you need a new blower motor.
