Excavator becomes sluggish when engine is hot and sometimes even stalls out. Could this be a problem with the ejection pump? Thanks for your help.
IF it has an in-line injection pump.. the feed line going to the lift pump, on the side of the IP, right under the hand primer has a screw-in filter in THAT BOLT.. 99% of the time its clogged w/ crap..

Kind of sounds like a hydraulic pump problem pulling more horsepower than the engine has to give. Have you checked for fault codes on the monitor panel?
My exact same model machine has been doing same thing. we drained tank Changed filters New fuel line Checked screens, fittings in pump Any other ideas? Thanks
