So i have some rusty flakes in the Tank. Ive cleaned and drained it best that i can. It had an inline automotive style filters that i was using. But i replaced them with a bigger spin on zero bypass fuel filter like on transfer tanks to help catch trash before going into the lift pump and then into the main filters. Issue is machine will run a while then begin to bog down some. I know its a fuel issue as when i was first replacing the filters its seemed that it would get better. Ive read that there is a banjo with a screen on the lift pump. But mine doesnt have banjo fittings it has what look like inverted flare fittings. Only last thing that i can do is pull the lift pump and make sure it doesnt have trash in it. Im at a loss beyond that. Anyone else have any thoughts? I just picked up an overflow vavle today for the injector pump. Diesel shop tested my old one and it was on the very bottomn of the spec so i went ahead and got a new one. This might help some.
