Can you provide a photo of the monitor panel and controls on the right side console. Since you only provided the model number, there is no way for anyone to know what you have.

yes i will do it tomarrow as its raining here but its a mini excavator there really isnt anything to show its just the key switch 3 indicator lights and a toggle switch

Sounds like an early machine. Might not even have a computer. Can you get a serial number?

yes there is no computer the serial number is 23370 i was told itg could be a gray area machine around 2004 or so but im not sure as there list didnt go that high or something i will get a pictujre this morning

I've never seen an MR model of machine that old. Does your machine have a serial number tag? The number you have given is no good. How about a photo of the entire machine? If it doesn't have a computer, then it very likely only works at one speed. I would guess that the toggle switch is for an auto decel on the engine throttle.

the toggle switc h doesnt seem to do anything i hope it has another speed because it is very slow

I would guess it's for the light on the boom. I suppose you should check the normal items. Air filter, fuel filter and strainer if there is one. Does your machine have an electric fuel pump? Is the throttle moving all the way against the stop? Does the machine have a Yanmar engine or a Komatsu?

Wierd to see minis with steel tracks... are you saying the travel speed is slow? I cant imagine that thing has any sort of flow control functions.

That electric motor would be the engine speed control. That's not actually an MR, those are all zero tailswing. Not real sure it's even a 30, looks like a 20 size to me. Real close to a PC20-6 You may be missing a whole panel assembly, I've never seen even a mini with so little electrical for the operator, and I go back to Nissan Kizai Mini-Giant excavators, about 1980!

well im not sure on the motor the numbers on the motor are 3075-20 im surprised at the lack of panel stuff myself it runs like a top even when it was 10 degrees out the other day it started right up without even using the heater first which i was shocked at and there is no lwires running to the lightg also there is only like 4 or 5 fuses in the fuse box

well anyway thanks for trying i guess my search continues

Put up a picture of the info plate, did I see it on the left front corner?

i just noticed on the tag its a pc 10

That makes a lot more sense. It's a gray market machine never meant to be in this country. Can you take a photo of the pumps and engine? Then we can tell you what you actually have.

https://jikotrading.jp/komatsu-hydraulic-excavator-pc10-6/ this is the same one right down to the motor number the serial number is close as well

Gear pumps and the top is basically an umbrella. Basically you can only use the machine for your own projects on your own land. The gear pumps only work at the speed of the engine. If it isn't slowing down when you work that machine, you might have hydraulic pump problems. Do you have a manual throttle handle. I don't recall any electronics on a machine with gear pumps.

  18. #18mutt19702021-01-05 19:26

yes it has a hand throttle the machine as a whole works very well

Okay, that makes more sense.... The electric motor is actually the engine shutoff, my bad. The toggle switch is most likely for the boom light. If your speed issue is with the tracks, the early machines did not have two speed, so max travel will be about 1.3mph. or roughly 120 feet per minute. My ancient fat carcass can walk faster than that.
