Actually I m working on a komatsu pc400-8R, machine was under repair for too long( control valve overhauling), when we tested the machine first, while travelling machine is engine is shutting off while traveling, we checked the diesel lines and we found out that some plastics( probably coming from tank) stuck up , we cleaned it up and we have no more problems with the engine. After that we tested the machine again: The complain is engine and hydraulic overheat , we changed the hyd oil cooler, radiator, the fan clutch, and tested again: only after 15 minutes coolant temp is 98 and hydraulic is 91 and more the hydraulic temperature is getting higher, the function is getting slow. Ps: We’re working in a climate with high temperature( more than 40 degrees) I m waiting for your advices fellas !
Have you done any cycle times on any of the hydraulic functions? Boom up should be in the range of 4.0 to 5.5 seconds with the stick all the way out, bucket in full dump position from the ground to top out on the boom cylinders.
