Hi guys Just purchased a Komatsu 2003 PW110R wheeled excavator and the front axle is locked ridged, by pressing the axle lock button l can hear clicking (this could just be a relay) but the axle is still locked, it would appear the axle units need oil pressure to unlock allowing the axle float on uneven ground, there is one pipe coming from the bottom of the orbital oil unit, this pipe goes to front axle and is T off to right and left axle oscillation units, l am not sure which solenoid would control this line but it must be situated on the upper part of machine, l cannot feel any solenoids working when the lock on/release button is pressed, it seems a bit odd that the machine is stuck on axle lock mode because l was told the normal mode is axle float and should only lock when button is pressed and 12v power is sent to a valve releasing the pressure to the axle units. Also the optional steering modes are not working, front axle steering only, when pressing the steering mode buttons there is no lights or clicks heard, appears dead. all fuses seem ok, not sure about the relays and which does what because no diagram on fuse box.
