Hi I’m new to using a form but here goes I have a Komatsu PC 78 MR Dash six that when swinging and curling the engine wants to stall out right before it starts I’ll get a little bit of black smoke. The engine will start right back up. i’ve seen others report the same problem on here some say, replace the pumps I’ve heard others tell me it’s an adjustment. Please help.
Sounds like the pc valve on the pump is bad or out of adjustment. It has to be balanced with the engine or one will work harder than the other. Good luck,
