Having problems with new tier 4 excavators. Have broken a pin and the bushings and pins are wearing out faster than expected. Anyone having the same problem?
What is the size of the machine and dash number? Is it always the same pin that making trouble? Do you have automatic grease system or manual?
They are PC 490-10 series excavators. Problems are with accesive wear on pins and bushings. One excavator broke the main pin connecting the stick to the boom in the center of the pin. Makes me think there is a line bore problem. Don't have automatic greasers but they are getting greased daily

Are the pins breaking on a grease hole? A photo of the end of the break on the pin would be nice.
not here, most likely somebody doing something stupid. tell operators they have to pay 5% of repair bill see what happens..
