Had my WA 470-1 for quite a while and has been great. I lost my entire monitoring panel recently and have nothing on dash. Everything else works fine. Tried breaker reset with no joy. Anybody got any ideas or had experience?
All is lightened but no indicators (fuel, hours, and so on)?
Yeah,no indications of any kind including the warning lite. All running lites, wiper etc. are fine. Ran it all thru the last storms like that, but need them back.
Had similar problems on a WA100 at ~2000 hours on and off. I just started it on the relay when it happened (grey box on the right side mounted on the partition wall that holds the radiator on wa100 atleast). The service mechanic said that there was nothing he could do, but change the dash because it was probably faulty wiring, but this was very expensive so we didn't do this then.. Then after a while i figured a medium to hard knock or tap on top of the dash did the trick *** Maybe unrelated to this problem, but after that it began burning starters at ~2500 hours (changed 3 starters in 1 month) because malfunction in the computer (dash) kept the starter motor in so it followed the engine all the time.. just changed dash last week, haven't operated it since. Don't know if this helps you, just my experience
