Every time I look at a Kubota for sale on Iron Planet, it is not available for export. Anyone have any idea why this is?
The word I got was that Kubota paid the US Government big dollars to stop any gray market machines from coming into the country and to prevent any supplied for US consumption from going out of the country. Never got that confirmed but I know there were no gray market Kubota mini tractors brought in by the bored air line pilots.
Heres some reading; http://www.kubota.com/priorproduct/GrayMarketCourtDecision.aspx http://www.orangetractortalks.com/2010/07/10-myths-about-kubota-gray-market-tractors/ Randomn quote from some tractor forum; Google should bring up a pile of other material more pertinent to what information you want.
