hi,when I turn the key on my kubota it sometimes just clicks and after a couple of try's she fires up no problem,it wasn't to bad a first but now it seems to be getting worse and I have to keep turning the key and eventually she goes,any help to what the problem is please
Speaking generically four typical possibilities come to mind: Battery cables, do you lose power momentarily when you turn the switch? Could be bad battery connections, ground connection, battery relay? Key switch, you can check with a meter or test light to make sure you have good power from the starter terminal. Starter solenoid, with the key switch on, carefully jumper from the battery cable terminal to the small solenoid terminal, if it cranks over the solenoid should be okay. Starter relay, if it has one and most Japanese machines do. This is the most likely suspect actually, but you will have to find it.
