many of you have rotating joints probably read my recent post 6 ton kubota excavator slow track i have had a look at the valve block to check no debries are stopping the lever's going fully foward and backward and at the same time cleaned out under the floor mat, changed the track motor oil's was quite clean and the digger still has a slow track especialy when it gets warmed up. I am now thinking its the rotary union distributor situated in the center of the slew ring. has any one ever removed one of these i can get to half of it from beneath the digger but not sure what i need to remove to get to fiber optic rotary joint the top half i.e. from inside the cab? once i get it out do i need to send it to a specialist to have new seals fitted or can i get the seals and diy it. any suggestions much appreciated cheers James
