Got a new svl75, the door goes up good, but it gets some resistance sometimes. Really don’t want to lube the track because of dirt buildup but it sure seems like it needs it. Any long term experience with these doors? Do you lube it with something?
White lithium is what is use. Just lube the roller shaft. If you wanna spray the tracks, use this. I use the dry lube and the lithium for all kinds of moving parts.
After I posted this I had some of that wd40 dry lube and sprayed it on a paper towel and cleaned/wiped the rail. Day and night difference. It’s opens and closes with very little effort.
