Got a Kubota skid steer I’m trying to diagnose. The guy was running a mower with it and said it suddenly died and wouldn’t turn over again. Starter would engage, just couldn’t turn the motor over. He put a new starter on it, but of course that didn’t change anything. He asked me to look at it. I thought maybe the pump was stuck so I pulled starter and turned it over with the flywheel, it turns but with a little resistance. I pulled the radiator forward and turned it at the crank and it makes an odd springy sound. Any ideas? I took a video but I’m apparently not smart enough to post it lol. Thanks!
