I have a customer with a L70H needing a replacement engine. I have available a motor pulled form a Volvo L70G, tag shows an engine model of D6H. My customers engine is a D6J, but power is exact same and application is similar. Will the D6H work? what changes would need to be made? Any advice would be appreciated. Really want to help this guy out. Thanks
ECU mismatch for starters. J has a completely different EGR. , The J speaks differently than the H. Faster comms, no SAE J codes. Now uses TEA W backbone vs CAN 1 & 2. THEY ARE JUST PLAIN INCOMPATIBLE. Sorry
