Alright, my memory may be shot, but is this roughly the basic procedure to adjust steering clutches on the old dry clutch ag-based machines(ie: JD 40, 420, 430, 440) - Remove round access plug and top cover. - Loosen bolt on throw-out(1/2" headed bolt you have to access through round hole) - Pull back steering clutches to finger engagement - Tighten 1/2" headed bolt - Use Screwdriver to tighten brake band I bought the PDF manual from John Deere but there is a problem with the download and JD can't fix it until Monday or Tuesday. I just need the basic procedure so I can just the steering clutches. One side both the handle and the band are way out of whack. Thank you all.
