Hi. Boss just bought a old grove rt600e and it has started dripping hydraulic oil from the bottom of the boom. Can't really see where it's coming from as it's not easy too get visual access( I'm an bigger guy). Some have suggested the cyclinder is probably the issue and I'm just wondering how big a job it is to fix it., and how dangerous it is to not fix it immediately. Thanks in advance
Not sure about the 600e but I had a RT635C and it did the same thing. Turned out to be a hose at the rod end of the cylinder. You can access it thru holes in the side of the boom. It took two people to change it, on person with a hand in thru each side of the boom working together
