Trying to find a schematic or shop manual for a 1994 320L Cat for my uncle, he's got a leak in his oil pump and would like to see a schematic of the pump before breaking it down. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Andrew.
Serial Number, just to get the correct pump..?
Just getting that now, should have it shortly.
and would you like the serial number to the pump or the excavator? or both?
S/N of the excavator please. Also just to confirm it is the implement hydraulic pump that's leaking, correct..?
I believe he said engine oil pump, I'm confirming that as soon as he gets back to me with the serial number
Sorry, yes your right it is the hydraulic oil pump, still waiting on the serial number, in about an hour I ssupect
Serial he gave me was 8068...not sure if that's the full serial number or not?
No it isn't. There should be a 3-letter prefix to that number, maybe something like ANB or DBG.
Sorry about that Nige, my uncle says it's "Jx8068" Hopefully that's the one, please let me know
Sorry, it's not. Are you sure he's not trying to read something off the pump..? The machine Serial Number (VIN) plate should be on the revolving frame close to the foot of the boom or maybe on the front right corner of the revolving frame.
Sorry for taking so long with that info Nige, but here we go... First some info on the excavator Serial #: 7JK08068 PIN #: 711765 Unidentified number also in cab: 1KL00419 On Hydraulic Pump: SHMADZU YP15 Serial #: 227 Model: APIZ Hopefully this is help identify, thanks again and look forward to hearing from you.
Now we're talking ...... 7JK08068 is actually the engine S/N. The machine S/N is 1KL00419. The system was intelligent enough that when I entered the engine S/N it took me to the machine Serial Number for parts so that confirms the engine is original. Here is one of 4 views of the 114-0490 Implement pump that are available. If you want all of them plus the parts listing drop me a PM with your email address.
Thanks very much Nige, PM sent so as to get that info. Thanks again!
