left foot peddle to control bucket movement

Etienne ยท 2018-01-06 13:39

the left foot peddle control rod connects to a lever that goes to a pump once activated will move bucket up or down and dump. my question is that when peddle is stepped on the lever either moves up or goes back and forth but will not make pump work is there a center pin or bolt to make lever move like its suppose to to get bucket to move.

Are you talking about a skid steer bobcat type machine??? if so what make and model and also any other info you might know about the machine and details about the problem... like did it just start happening and any history you might know about the machine. If it is a bobcat like a 763~ or similar yes the pedals are supposed to pivot on center... when the safety latch is not activated from the dropbar... both pedals should work the same.

it is a 1988 843 bobcat skid steer it just started yesterday we were loading cement on a trailer then it quit bucket would not raise or anything. i looked underneath what ever it is that sits on top of lever with a light and mirror and found the pivot bolt and found a 1/2 inch nut in the grease which i assume screws on the bolt also found a flat washer that`s stamped 7/16, are the parts i found go on this pivot bolt if they are how hard is it to put back on ?
