Those are tidy looking tankers, what make are they?

Hi cps, We had 4 of them made specially for us by Cook & Galloway engineering in Hamilton, New Zealand as we couldn't get anything over here that had all the spec's we wanted for a decent price. They hold 20,000 liters (takes about 5 minutes to fill), weigh around 6 ton empty have air brakes, steerable rear axle and are certified to travel at 65kph on the road.

No mounted spray rig for the fastrac? Most of the fastracs around here get used as poor man floaters and haying. There is one guy that cuts a couple hundred miles of I70 for hay in the summers. He uses all fastracs for that because they can meet the minimum speed for the interstate. Before that it was all high speed shoulder and ditch driving and trying not to catch a sign with the moco. Stressful stuff.

Hi hvy 1ton, Na no mounted sprayer, would have preferred one but we inherited that one with a farm so thats what we run, I made the front tank and it gravity feeds the rear tank so the tractor stays pretty well balanced no matter what level the tanks are. Sounds nasty the high speed shoulder driving!

That's a pretty good solution for the sprayer! Yeah, unlike the rest of the world we like our really wide trailed mowers for hay. So, you'll be rolling along the shoulder/ditch because you can't actually drive on the road and pass a sign with the tractor just fine, but if your not careful you'll catch the right corner of the mower on the larger sign posts. To avoid this you have to either go into the ditch around it or into the road at 15-20mph. Not much of a choice. Going around overpasses was really fun.:Banghead
