Hi. Im looking at a couple 210lx link belts. I wanted to know your guys opion on them. Thanks, John
I Believe the Link Belt's are the same machine as the Sumitomo machines. Our Sumitomo SH210-4 is a superior machine. Uses a Common Rail 4 Cylinder Isuzu motor which is very economical. Plenty of power and fast for it's size. Done near 4000 Trouble free hours so far in some fairly harsh conditions.
A friend of mine has Linkbelt 210Lx's and one x2. Both lx's have run without issue for him, in fact he bought the second lx after he purchased the X2. The x2's a nicer machine but has had a few electrical issues. Both of his x2's have been bullet proof, built logging road, worked it rock, house demolition, excavation. Great owner operator machine, operators don't seem to complain much about them. The isuzu's are easy on fuel, and all they need is oil changes for a long trouble free life.
