Loadrite Scale

We have a 962H with a Loadrite something or other scale on it. The boss thought it was too tippy with 5 yard bucket so swapped out the 4.5 yard bucket from the 950G. I think it needs re-calibrated, but the consensus is to just zero it and call it good. What do you guys say?

Just zero it and load a truck. Take the truck over a certified scale and compare the two weights.

I'll do that when we move closer to a scale. Right now it would be four hours to get a tare and gross.

Not familiar with Loadrite, but the Cat supplied scales we had on most 980G and such would not zero out if there was too much difference. Not sure if it would work but if that is the case would wonder if you could lift with a little product in the bucket and zero that to give a different starting point then try zeroing with an empty bucket? Say if the maximum difference it would zero for was 500 lb. get weight in bucket to be 450 lb. and zero that then repeat as needed to get to the point you need with empty bucket.

Call loadrite Hi. When you change the bucket the scale will need to have a Zero Calibration. This is different than updating zero or known as "check zero" Call 800-528-5623 to get your local Loadrite distributor.
