farmerlund · 2018-03-07 20:19

Does anyone know were to get grinder wheel like this. It’s 6” in diameter. 1 1/2” tall and has a 1 1/4” hole for the arbor. It used to sharpen steel knives in a silage chopper.

It's not quite exactly what you have, but its close. 1 1/4" x 2" tall. Straight cup. Maybe some more looking, or the 2" would work? https://www.grainger.com/product/NO...DPBR_6056-9431-4&req=Customers_Also_Purchased NORTON 6" Type 6 Aluminum Oxide Straight Cup Grinding Wheel, 1-1/4" Arbor, 2" Thick, 46 Grit, 3820 Max. Just a additional note. If you get the part # from grainger, you can a lot of the time get the same thing from zoro for way less money. Grainger and zoro are the same company.

Once you find out the specs and/or part #, try MSC, ENCO, McMASTER-CARR, for starters, should be able to find an affordable one...
