I renewed my license in a timely fashion. As soon as they sent me the documents I went ahead and did whatever I needed to. Had to do MA and RI at the same time. I got my RI renewal back within a week of sending it. My MA has not come yet. But they cashed my check almost a month ago. So am I barred from driving in MA til I get the actual license? I've looked my license number up and only ones showing are my one which just expired yesterday and then the previously expired one from 2016.
