mason fork bent

Have a bent mason fork, have trouble figuring out the best way to straighten it. I do have a 75 ton press, but exactly how to set it up is the question. I am not concerned that this fork will be weaker than the others. The bend starts about 8 inches away from the frame

In our shop experience, we caried it to a shop with a 100 ton press and several experienced millwrights on site. Depending on the bend, they just set up a reverse force point and slowly applied till straightened a little past (to allow spring back). In some cases, the thought was it is useless as it is, try and take the chance. Sort of a judgment call depending on the bend, press available and experience in setting it up to do.

Looks to be square tubing. Should be able to block each side of the bend (where it isn't bent) with the bend on the top. Then use a flat plate and push on the top of the bend. Might be able to straighten it on the ground too if you had something to push down on it like a backhoe or front end loader. Could even use a jack and lift a heavy vehicle over the bend. Don't use heat unless you really need too but if you do don't get it too hot. Just starting to to turn orange is enough. If heat is needed concentrate it mostly on the sides.

I am guessing it is the fork farthest back in the pic and from your statement the prong is bent 8 inches out from the actual manufactured bend? Can you remove it and send a pic of it sitting alone on a concrete floor? Woiuld be a great help n visualizing a set up.

I bent my forks pulling out a playground post, I was able to bend it back using rectangle tube stock and the machine
