Do any of you guys know anything about the Massey Ferguson loader tractor with the Perkins diesel engine. It is 4x4 and an early 1990's tractor. ** 50 HX 4X4. Thanks for any info.

I had the next model - a 1995 50HX 4x4 loader backhoe. Owned it for 15 years and only recently sold it. It was a good honest machine. The Perkins 4.236 or 4.248 are very reliable engines. And the 50HX has very powerful hydraulics and everything was built strong. The 50HX has twin ram slew on the hoe. Not sure if the 50H had twin rams or a slew motor like the 50B. The slew motors could give trouble. What do you need to know?
