Taylor T-360-L, I have a Taylor forklift that the mast keeps drifting down. I rebuilt the two lift cylinders and pressure tested to 3000 psi, I removed the relief cartridge checked for trash, removed the spool its ok no sticking or scarring any other help would be great. thanks Also checked pilot controls. it seems that there may be a crack in main control valve body
What mast or better yet what style lift cylinders? Are they displacement style or ram style, in other words, where are the main packings, rod or piston? Does it have leak back lines from the cylinders to the reservoir? When you say drifts, how much (time and distance)? An easy way to narrow it down is to place a manual valve in the lift hose line, raise the mast and turn off the valve and wait.
