Mikasa double drum roller. Oil?

Changing the oil on the doomahickey that makes it vibrate. Anyone know what kind of oil to use? By the way, what do you call that thing and how does it work?

    Hey Rob, I bet that oil is a petroleum product, or maybe a synthetic? Seriously, I think the doomahickey that makes it vibrate is called the vibrator. :beatsme The old one I had apart used an eccentric shaft.
