going to tie into a manhole and run 180 feet of 36" rcp..couple things in the way and of course they have to be running at a angle!!..first : gather my tools!!..then we see the manhole top and my track line.. the rest are just the work..its a Komatsu 600 with great A/C!!!
thats a nifty bucket who makes it?
I would hate to change all of those tips
wow, thats a trench, how do you level the pipe bed under the crossing utilities, drive a d-3 sized dozer into the trench?
tuesdays work another tie in using 20" c900 for a catchbasin run. same damn 2 pipes in the way grrr....
Please post all information regarding this job in this thread, not individual threads for each day's work. Thanks
Nice pics Reddot! That's a nice, neat trench. In the second pic I see you have a digging line painted on the ground. Is it offset to the side or on the center?
bucket head: thats a inside trackline..when i ran the ol 235's i used a outside trackline but it seems about 10 or 15 yrs ago they moved the cabs farther back so you can't see an outside track line very well. for some reason i can't dig very well using a center line
