Deere advertises the new L series to have 3" more legroom. I find my 67 year old knees get very stiff in my 2015 544K after about 2-3 hrs because I can't fully stretch them out (and I'm only 5'10"). Anyone ever modify their seats on older series for more legroom?
One easy way to get extra room is just add space under the seat. 2" of extra space up will make a big difference. I am 6'5". An easy way to add is spacers and longer bolts to where the seat attaches to the suspension frame. Or my second choice is under the suspension frame and the floor.
