What is it about the Volvo that makes you prefer it over another machine?
Above all the cab,it´s very confortable,secondly it´s hard and resistant,very fine to the touch,not thirsty, I have worked with hitachi,liebherr,volvo,komatsu,case,samsung,doosan,new holland,but never cat...I speak as operator, not as owner,maybe at "the numbers" it´s not a good investment.
If the fuel economy is good, it might very well be a good investment.
You are right however its price it´s a bit more expensive than for example hitachi.One must to study very well all options, (guarantie,maintenance,service,etc)before to buy...
