On previous posts I indicated I have a summer project developing on my ranch where I plan to excavate apx. 25k-30k cu yds to enlarge and deepen a ditch. This is to build a long narrow pond. My question is do I need a silt fence or other erosion control method? The spoils are to be spread near the pond and it is clay and almost flat.
probably should check the DNR regulations in your area just to avoid some huge fine
