Case 450 running hot about 210 sitting still not working.Engine rebuilt,new thermostat,new water pump.Had the radiator cleaned and rodded out.The fan pushes air out the front but I wonder if it should be pulling air in.Going to check pump timing again.I know it is possable the new thermostat is bad.Noticed temp runs up to about 220 then drops to 200 or 210 and holds.
I'd check the guage and make sure it's not just reading 15 degrees high, then, I'd pull the thermostat out.
OK anyone know a part number are what temp.thermostat goes in a 450 with the 188D engine.Had a 195 but opened at 220 and run at 210.Bet it needs a 180 degree.
