guys i have a 950F wheel loader that needs a backward and forward cable...what is it? or better yet what is the proper name for it?

Supply a Serial Number and I can give you a Part Number. There are 2 cables on the transmission shift, one is known as the direction cable because it controls direction F->N->R and the other is the speed cable that controls the gear selection 1->2->3, etc.
