Question. When I start my 555 I have to pull up on the gear shifter and turn the key. Do I need to replace the neutral safety switch?
Not sure about a 555, but my 580 has a neutral switch that is still working fine. If it annoys you to pull up on the gear shifter, and you dont want to replace the switch, you could just pull the two wires off the switch, and then just wire-nut them together.....this will make it "think" that it is in Park.
