hi to all, we recently bought a 680L backhoe and is still in regular shape, if you like working with a snail with a loader and backhoe....but, i noticed that the loader has very poor loading-excavating power, as far as lift, once you fill it up and try to load a dump truck, you have to shift out n gas it up to barely get it to the top, in the diggin department its kinda the same, it has power,it will even drag the machine with it when you dig up a little too much., Well ive taken apart the hydraulic reservoir and cleaned both the screens in hopes that would help it some, with no luck, im in the proces of checkind the pressur on the pump but not even the guys at case will give me the specs, my guess is they rather have me take it in and charge me a gazzillion dollars, anyways im thinking it is the pump cause all the debris i found stuck to the screens, i am plannin on changin filters and cleaning the reservoir but i wanna make sure the pressure directly from the pump is within specs before i move down the line and onto the control valve or relief valve, mind you (in case you dont remember the pump has a connection directly on it, for that purpose). I appreciate any and all feedback, thanx in advance
pressures are power but flow or gpms are speed you can sometimes have one but not the other
680L, main relief loader is 2650-2700 psi @ 2200 rpm, backhoe main relief 2800-2900 psi @ 2200 rpm, loader lift (raise) with 1.5 yard bucket empty is 5.09 seconds, with rated load in bucket is 5.26 seconds, hope this helps you out.
