New Holland L785 Pump Shaft Issue

Hi We have a New Holland L785 that we acquired This machine was stored outside for a good number of years uncovered We pumped out all of the Hyd fluid and replaced it Ran the machine , running fine , then the small oil pump shaft broke We replaced it and the second pump broke right away Pump Shaft twists right off , we made sure the over pressure valve was operational and not stuck We wondering if we possibly are breaking the pump shaft by accidentally switching to aux take off for the front auxiliary lines WITHOUT an impliment in place ?

Which overpressure valve? I'm not familiar with this particular machine, but the main relief I believe is in the main control valve for the lift/bucket circuits. The only way you snap pump shafts is having a deadend situation with nowhere for the oil to go, or a relief set way too high. Combination of main relief and charge relief settings could be a problem also as they may be in series. Not sure how the auxiliary is plumbed on that machine, parts diagram doesn't show much.

Thank you !! I posted the part diagram to show what pump were talking about Thank you for confirming the fact that a deadend high pressure can break the pump shaft Ill get back to the thread ASAP

We now have the machine back running However the mesh screen (#8 in the picture above) in line from the main Hyd Fluid tank, just before the pump gets packed with a fine media in 5-10 min of running the media almost looks like paper pulp anyone else have this happen or advise ?
