Guys i was driving our LX565 skid steer.Dint bother to check the oil.Well i was using it and it suddenly stop working.after few try it started but loud knocking sound coming from engine.took it to Dealer.They open up and said crank shaft is broken and 2 cylinder gone.The new crank shaft cost $2000 and Cylinder costs $1000 each.that is too expensive.can some1 tell me if these thing can be repaired. also does any1 know where i can get used parts for it.let me know.thank you
Rebuilt long block is your best choice. the New holland dealer in northern VT was the cheapest price for a motor around here.
find out what flavor of motor it is and start looking at the used tractor parts places... should be able to be to find something for 3k or so ready to drop in.
