Hello. If you were ordering a new quick attach (No presently owned attachments either), would you choose an ISO or JRB style hook up? Seems to be that it is easier to find information and attachments for a JRB style hook up, but some places say that ISO is the way to go. What are your thoughts? Thanks
JRB/Palladin all the way. Simple, clean install. Simple to operate, safe to run. There are different styles, get what's right for you. There's fabricated housings and cast housings. Cast tend to last longer with various digging ops, may crack if subject to violent abuse of running a hammer. Fabricated are simple and strong, just show wear a little quicker. Both have redundant safeties that even if the locking jaw were to fail, the close side pin stays captured. Important when men work where they don't belong, under the bucket. Hope this helps, good luck in your choice.
ISO! Farther spacing both vertically and horizontally only makes sense it stresses the frame less, it's very significant difference we have jrb 416 and iso. Where you getting it from? Price? Looking for another one here.
I work for a large Attachment and Coupler manufacturing Company and would say the ISO, Deere Hi-Viz, and Volvo (which are all the same) are best for the loveak77 reasons above. However JRB is much more prevelant in market and finding used attachments would be much easier. I think funwithfuel above was refering to an excavator coupler possibly?
Hi Mr.Mel do you guys make the cplr base units as well that pin-on the H bar? I'm looking for a quick cplr setup for a hyundai 740-9. Where you located?
My WA270-7 & -8 have dual fit couplers (ISO and 416) from JRB.
I have only own and used the JRB 416. It may not be the ideal layout for a coupler, but does it really matter? Thats an honest question, I have never heard of a failure due to JRB coupler, but maybe there are. However, the fact that you find new and used attachments easily makes it hard to look past, at least for me. Given what new buckets cost, being able to locate good used buckets in a common JRB configuration can save a lot of money.
My main dislike for the smaller dimensions is on a pushblade for snow were completely rebuilding that was completely destroyed. Those wide wings hanging out there need a wider support base. Dirt/forks shouldn't matter as much
Have a pic of that? Be interested to see how they worked the combo
