will be adding pictures as we progress..there will also be 1500' of 36" sewer pipe added these pics show the first day and a half of my digging with a Derre 450 with a big ol' bucket..i'm down 17' and hit ground water, engineers are figuring out a dewatering plan.. more money for the company
nice nice looking dig! you do a real nice job. an engineered dewatering plan? right now we are lucky if the CE even stamps the plans for a dig. how much water is there? regards, cd :usa:usa
reddot What companies generator is that by the truck in the first picture? Is it a rental unit ?
not sure of the brand name but it does belong to our company
well bear in mind i have to go down another 8' for half of it and 12' for the other half and the ground water is showing now..the engineers want to pour the slab on original ground..(no rock bedding). I think we are going to sink a couple 3" submersibles in on monday about 14' deep in a casing surrounded by drain rock to see if we can keep the water at bay..
well..we are done..i had to dig a trench between 5-7' deep around the whole thing using a Kobelco 200..that was a bitch and then cause someone measured wrong i had to readjust my slopes from the bottom with no time to do it right and no room to square up on them..all in all i myself am very displeased with how it came out but it wasn't up to me on how to dig it..companys happy cause we made money so i guess thats what counts
