Nh 220 ENGINE injector after adjusting injector torque injector stuck not return back what is problem plz help me set injector torque 48in lb
Back the adjustment off and try to pull the plunger out and check to see if the spring is broken or lots of carbon on the tip. Then without the spring, drop the plunger back in gently til it stops and rotate it gently and then reinstall the spring if it aint broken. Then check the torque on the 1/2" bolts that hold the injector down, they used to have a neoprene lock on the threads and when that wears off, they can come loose. Re-adjust to 60 in/lbs & see what happens. TruckShop is probably the best authority on this. Its been 52 years since I was into a 220
If this is a 220 in a Komatsu Dozer they are set to a lower inch pound setting than the Truck engine, if set to tight they will struggle to start, set to loose they just push out black smoke, always check the valve springs as this is a common fault on the NH220.
Valve springs mean injector springs? If loose the torque then engine power down if tight the injector torque then injector stuck we fitted new injector injector stuck on hand rotation
Where use Neoprene lock on injector bolts which tights on injector on head
Valve springs are the springs stuck on the end of inlet and exhaust valves, they are next to the injector on the 12 ltr engine, have you bent the injector push rod?
I've seen a few guys use the wrong timing marks when setting the injectors. Ends up with bent push rods and stuck injectors. Also oner tightening an injector will stick it.
No bent push rod
what is the engine in?????
Any chance of a couple pictures of the engine showing the pulley with the timing marks and also one showing the top of engine with a valve cover off? Like they say one picture is worth 1,000 words!
My problem is solved problems is when we tight the injector in head then we check injector removed the injector spring then injector nozzle push in injector some injector nozzles stuck not move easily then we lose the injector bolts and check where nozzle is moved free then fit nozzle springs and adjust torque then start engine engine working properly thanks All friends
