Those are electrical generating windmill blades. that's one reason we'll never get them here, we'd have to knock down two couties woth of hills to turn around.

I see more and more trucks pulling windmill blades lately. I was in northern Iowa neading north late one night and came over a hill and all i could see were red aircraft warning lights on both sides of the highway and thought "man theres alot of tv/radio antennas here, shouldnt have any problem getting something on the tv", went back through there 2 days later during the day and found out it was a whole lot of windmills.

Crash i know what you mean. i was on my way to wisconsin one night and came over a small knoll and evidently i was just viewing things the wrong way on top of the little hill off in the distance i thought i samw all these tail lights and i was wondering what kind of a traffic jam there could be out in the sticks at 3 in the morning. turns out it was a windfarm and i just happened to be lined up just right so it would appear that way. I figured it out a couple minutes later and felt kind of silly

We got windmills here too. And they are located on the highest topps... And most of them only got construction roads up there. In most cases they need a pusher in the back, to get up and to be able to manage the turns. Blades are 52m /apr 160 feet long.
