Noisy Kawasaki K3Vx pumps

Hi guys, Just a question in general about hydraulic pumps and mainly Kawasaki K3V pumps. I buy and sell used equipment and have always has cases where the pump makes a humming noise as soon as you touch any of the levers. Usually there is no noise from the pump and then on some machines when i touch any lever theres a humming noise. Some people have told me this is a sign of a worn pump and some say its a normal with Kawasaki pumps. And to be honest to this day we havenet had a problem with these pumps. But can anyone tell me what causes the noise and whether its anything to be concerned with? Thanks

the one kawasaki pump it seldom make sound one of the reason is use too long time...u check with the pressure psl...try see is that below 5000 psl got humming noise or over 5000....if over 5000 try set to below 5000.... 2nd is hydraulic filter got dirty or not...if dirty also will make the sound... your vehicle is after working hot it make sound or when cold start using it make sound? if it is after hot it make sound is that the car moving into slow? if after hot and it moving slow i think you have to remove the pump and uninstall inside valve plate scratch, plungger scartch...change it and the problem can be solve... if the hydraulic is very clean....for a pump it will be working 20k hours before plungger and valve plate start scratch... this all is the information that i can give you...hope can help you and u can be solve this problem soon.. thanks..
