So obviously the numbers vary from company to company, what do they numbers mean, are they all a reflection of how much the machine weighs? That being said how exactly are hoes measured..... cant seem to find a concrete answer.. have been running hoe for a solid two years professionally.. How I don't know this already is beyond me... noob question for y'all... any help is appreciated
In most cases I believe that it refers to machine weight in metric ton (I think) would weight in at 16 metric ton... Cat uses a similar system but the first digit on all excavators is a 3. Minis are a little different but in general a 35 size is 3.5 ton.
