Oem piping Case 580sr 2009

Hi there, I have a Case 580sr (Australian model). Google it for images! It has extendahoe etc but not hammer piping. Has anyone ever gone to the trouble of fitting up the piping themselves? Just wondering likely costs and things to watch out for or even if it's in fact worthwhile. It has the bolt holes there on the boom for the piping to attach to. Do they normally have some kind of pedal in the cab to operate the attachments? I would like to run an auger off the hoe mostly for digging strainer post holes for farm fencing. It would save me taking 2 machines to the job everytime. Any advice appreciated.

Hammer piping is common on the 580 but costly. Seems you would need a bi directional valve for a auger, where as Hammer valve is one way only. Even more money. When we used an auger we simply removed the two bucket cylinder Hoses and installed quick couplers. Most augers I have seen swing freely anyway, so no need to control the Bucket linkage. When needed put the auger on move the hoses to the auger and plug in. Then use the bucket lever to control the auger. Tom
