i recently purchased a 7g with 6cly inline 428, oil press was low so i changed oil and filters, this brought up the pressure to about 45# cold and 25 hot half throttle. after about 4hrs running press is low again about 10 hot. i drained oil and have about 6gals, only put in 5 gals. seems contaminated with diesel as was when i first drained the old oil. so the only place i can think of that could leak diesel to the oil would be the injector pump. the engine runs great and injector works fine. any ideas of anything else. dont think a bad injector because runs great. any ideas appreciated, and where can i get a pump or have rebuild if leaking thru. thanks
Is the fuel pump gear driven? Unfamiliar with the Chambers, but have seen plenty fuel leak past the pump seal into the crankcase via the timing gear///
