So I am having an issue where the oil pressure alarm would stay on after starting the machine. The machine runs perfect but I changed the oil anyway (it was close to that time) and disconnected and reconnected the sensor just incase. A few time before, I was able to just turn off the machine and restart and the alarm would go off and no come back on. I believe I found the right sensor 5I-6587 for my BCM00229 307C and it seems to be available for 70$-95$ which is fine but is there a ohm check I can do on the sensor to verify its bad? If I find it to be good then I might be chasing a short to ground somewhere. Thanks for the help.
